About me
Renan Vizzotto is a brand design lead and art director based in Dublin, Ireland.
He grew up in Concórdia, a small town in the south of Brazil, surrounded by farms, cattle, and the quiet rhythm of the countryside. His early memories are filled with simple, tactile experiences: fresh bread with molasses and cream at his grandmother’s house, afternoons by his grandfather’s pond, and a mix of Portuguese, Talian (A mix of the Venetian dialect and Portuguese), and German shaping the way he saw the world.
Design didn’t start in books or studios. It started in life. In observation. In the logos on his father’s trucks, the typography stamped on machinery, and the mechanical precision of everyday objects.
He still remembers the first time he saw a tachograph. It felt futuristic, almost otherworldly. Even as a child, he was drawn to clarity, structure, and presence. The Volvo mark stood out: simple, direct, unmistakable.
Later came the books and the studios. But in many ways, his design instinct was already there long before he had a name for it.
Today, Renan works at the intersection of strategy and craft, translating complex business challenges into clear, impactful visual systems. With over 16 years of experience and having worked across more than 10 countries, he currently serves as Senior Global Design Lead at PepsiCo.
His approach is shaped by contrast: a deep appreciation for simplicity rooted in his upbringing, combined with the scale and complexity of global brands. Whether working on a local project or a global system, he brings the same belief to the table: Beauty isn’t the end. It’s where it begins.
